Discover English has been chosen as the finalist as we have demonstrated that we go the extra mile for our students who are preparing for Cambridge English exams.

Another successful Pathway Day

Our aim is always to help students and one way of doing it is counselling them with their further studies. We just held our traditional Pathway Day on the 16th April. We invited all our pathway partners who happily attended our event and provided our students with information about their courses, dates and entry requirements.

Discover our Nationality Mix – May 2014

A diverse nationality mix is essential to help students with the learning experience. At Discover English students will use English to make new friends from different countries, and learn about new cultures. Discover English - May Nationality Mix

We would like to congratulate Discover English students who volunteer at the Weekend to End Women's Cancers!

Our students did a great job!!

Being a volunteer can be very rewarding. Volunteering also gives students valuable workplace experience and potential pathways to employment.

Discover English Language exchange program

Discover is running the most exciting and rewarding program for Japanese students. They visit local university class studying Japanese for language exchange. Discover English students help out with practising conversational Japanese with Australian students.

Practising a foreign language with native speakers through language exchange is a perfect way for meeting people, making friends and improving student English skills.

At Discover English students always come first!!

We want our students to meet their goals and for those on pathway we want them to meet their English entry requirements.

Discover English has introduced a new policy with regards to its pathway students. These students are made an appointment with Janine, the academic manager when they commence their EAP course. She explains what is required of them and that they must achieve at least 65% overall in their assessment in order to receive a letter of recommendation for their future course. Students have the chance to talk over any problems they anticipate they'll have and discuss study strategies. They are encouraged to come back at the end of each assessment period to discuss their progress. Discover English feels this is another way to keep students on track with their studies and ensure they achieve their goals.
